Notable changes

  • Step arcs render above keyboard in purple, not inside the dark container
  • Interval classifier uses tan interactive background instead of dark
  • Playback stops when switching sequences, no key flash during auto-play
  • Interval classifier requires user to tap Listen before answering (no auto-play on lesson open)
  • Progress indicators added to playable keyboard and scale builder exercises
  • Callout body text no longer truncates

Test plan

  • Launch lesson 1-2 on iPad simulator, verify no crash
  • Scroll through all pages end-to-end
  • Verify step arcs appear above keyboards on Half Steps, Three Kinds, Whole Steps, and Major Scale Pattern pages
  • Play sequences with multi-sequence toggle, verify no flash and stop-on-switch
  • Complete interval classifier exercise, verify listen-first flow and tan background
  • Complete scale builder exercise, verify arc animation and progress counter
  • Verify quiz loads and completes without crash
  • Verify lessons 1-1 still works correctly
